Abstract
The present invention relates to an underwater antifouling coating sheet for preventing a ship or an underwater structure from being contaminated by marine life and an underwater antifouling coating method using the same. The underwater antifouling coating sheet of the present invention has a silicone top coating layer for preventing contamination by aquatic organisms, and comprises a silicone adhesive layer for adhesion to the silicone top coating layer and a background adhesive layer for adhesion to a common anticorrosive paint, and thus has an excellent adhesive force without concern for peeling. Further, a worker can conveniently work without regard to exterior environments such as temperature, humidity or the like as in the known painting process since the underwater antifouling coating sheet is formed into the shape of a sheet, the level of health safety environment (HSE) of a workplace can be remarkably improved and a coating layer having a uniform thickness can be obtained since the underwater antifouling coating sheet is solventless, and there is no need to provide a separate protection shield since dust is not generated. In addition, since there is no scattering of dust or evaporation of a solvent, a worker can work more safely. Therefore, the coating sheet and the coating method of the present invention can spread the distribution of a silicone antifouling paint, which is a nontoxic antifouling paint, in the aspects of economical efficiency, workability, work safety and environmental friendliness, thereby enabling low carbon, environmentally friendly and green management of both a builder and a company that places an order.
