Abstract

The invention relates to a protection arrangement for the body of a living being, in particular in the form of a protection helmet, comprising a hard outer casing (1), an inner structure (2) which is designed to be placed on the body of the living being and a nub arrangement which is inserted between the inner structure (2) and the hard outer casing (1), said nub arrangement comprises a plurality of impact-dampening hollow nubs (13) which are provided on the front side (24) for placing on the hard outer casing (1) and which can be reversibly deformed for protecting against multiple shock effects. Said arrangement effectively protects against impacts despite the reversible shaping such that said hollow nubs (13) have an annular lower part (21) and at least one annular upper part (22) which is arranged in the direction of the hard outer casing, the upper part (22) and lower part (21) being connected by a binding piece (23) such that when an impact strikes the upper part (22), said upper part can be pushed radially inwards in a rolling manner into the annular lower part (21), starting from one of the connecting pieces (23), and said parts return to their initial position after the impact due to the return force of the deformed material, and the annular lower part (21), the connecting piece (23) and the annular upper part (22) are produced as an integral plastic part.
