Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de purification d'une charge d'alimentation contenant des espèces aromatiques afin de produire du paraxylène. Le procédé comprend la séparation d'une charge d'alimentation contenant des espèces aromatiques en C8+ en un courant contenant des espèces aromatiques en C8 et en un courant contenant des espèces aromatiques en C9+, l'extraction du PX contenu dans le courant d'espèces aromatiques en C8 et le traitement parallèle du courant appauvri en PX ainsi obtenu dans une unité d'isomérisation en phase liquide et une unité d'isomérisation en phase vapeur.
