Abstract

この発明に係る真空断熱材(1)は、曲げて使用する真空断熱材の曲げの内側になる芯材(3)の表面に複数の凸型突起(5)を設け、あらかじめ凸型突起を設けておいた芯材を外被材(4)に入れて真空封止される。凸型突起と凸型突起がある面に接する外被材の内側面との接触面積を減らすことよって芯材と外被材との摩擦力を減らすことができ、曲げた場合にも芯材と外被材が局所的に引っかかることなく応力が均一に分散されるので、曲げの内側に局所的に大きなシワが発生することを防止でき、曲げて使用したときに断熱性能の高い真空断熱材を得ることができる。
