このような無線通信システムにおいて、基地局は、PDCCH(Phy Downlink Control Channel)と呼ばれる制御信号により、UEに対する受信リソースの割り当て(Downlink Assign)、および送信リソースの許可(Uplink Grant)などを通知する。ここで、Downlink AssignやUplink Grantなどのリソース情報は、UE(User Equipment)ごとの情報である。このため、基地局は、各UEが自分宛のリソース情報を抽出できるように制御信号を送信し、各UEは、ブラインドデコーディングと呼ばれる処理によりPDCCHから自分宛のリソース情報を抽出する。以下、この点についてより詳細に説明する。

現在、3GPPにおいて4Gの無線通信システムの規格化が進められている。本発明の実施形態は、一例としてこの4Gの無線通信システムに適用することができるので、まず、4Gの無線通信システムの概略を説明する。
図1は、無線通信システム1の構成例を示した説明図である。図1に示したように、無線通信システム1は、基地局10と、MME(Mobility Management Entity)12、S-GW(Serving Gateway)14、およびPDN(Packet Data Network)-GW16を含むコアネットワークと、MTC端末20と、MTCサーバ30と、を備える。

上述の基地局10およびMTC端末20は、詳細については決定されていないが、eNodeBおよびUE間の通信に準ずる形で無線通信を行うことが予想される。そこで、以下では、eNodeBおよびUE間で共有される無線フレームについて説明する。以下で説明する内容は、基地局10およびMTC端末20間の通信に援用可能である。
続いて、上記のPDCCHに含まれる制御情報について説明する。PDCCHには様々な制御情報が含まれるが、代表的には、以下の2つの制御情報が含まれる。
(1)UEがPDSCHのうちで受信すべきリソースブロックを示す割当て情報(assign)
(2)UEがPUSCHのうちで送信すべきリソースブロックを示す許可情報(grant)
上記のassignやgrantなどのリソース情報はUEごとの情報である。このため、eNodeBは、各UEが自分宛のリソース情報を抽出できるようにPDCCHを送信し、各UEは、ブラインドデコーディングと呼ばれる処理によりPDCCHから自分宛のリソース情報を抽出する。以下、この点についてより詳細に説明する。
なお、上述したCCEに関し、CCEアグリゲーションという概念が存在する。このCCEアグリゲーションは、通常のCCEの単位の1倍、2倍、4倍、8倍のCCEを送信するモードである。
ところで、4Gの無線通信システムにおいては、上述したMTC端末の導入により、各セル内に存在する端末数、基地局がActiveモードで収容する端末数、および基地局10がPDCCHで同時に制御する端末数が増大することが予想される。さらに、PDCCHに含まれるCCEも、PDCCHで同時に制御する端末数の増大に伴って増大する。
本発明は、一例として「2-1.第1の実施形態」~「2-7.第7の実施形態」において詳細に説明するように、多様な形態で実施され得る。また、各実施形態は、MTC端末20に付与されたMTCグループの識別子であるMTC-GP_RNTIを用いて実現される。そこで、各実施形態の詳細な説明に先立ち、MTC-GP_RNTIを各MTC端末20に付与する方法を説明する。
図8は、C-RNTIおよびMTC-GP_RNTIの付与方法の一例を示したシーケンス図である。図8に示したように、まず、Step1~Step4からなるRandom Access Procedureにおいて、MTC端末20にC-RNTIが付与される。
続いて、図9~図13を参照し、本発明の第1の実施形態を説明する。
図9は、本発明の第1の実施形態による基地局10の構成を示した説明図である。図9に示したように、第1の実施形態による基地局10は、アンテナ104と、無線処理部108と、記憶部112と、スケジューラ116と、制御信号生成部120と、CRC回路124と、データマッピング部128と、を備える。
以上、本発明の第1の実施形態による基地局10の構成を説明した。続いて、本発明の第1の実施形態によるMTC端末20の構成を説明する。

以上説明したように、本発明の第1の実施形態による基地局10は、セカンドサーチペースを示す情報をMTC-GP_RNTIにより識別可能な状態でCCEに記載してPDCCHを送信する。しかし、基地局10がMTC端末20に対するリソース情報を当該MTC端末20のC-RNTIにより識別可能な状態でCCEに記載してPDCCHを送信する場合も考えられる。
以上、本発明の第1の実施形態を説明した。続いて、本発明の第2の実施形態を説明する。なお、以下に説明する第2の実施形態~第7の実施形態は、第1の実施形態と共通する部分が多いので、第1の実施形態と共通する部分については詳細な説明を省略する。また、図9に示した基地局10の構成図、および図11に示したMTC端末20の構成図を援用して第2の実施形態~第7の実施形態を説明する。
図7を参照して説明したように、MTC端末20は、通常、PDCCH内のCCEを周波数方向にサーチした後、次のOfdmシンボルを再度周波数方向にサーチしていく。このため、LTEにおいては、最低で5MHz幅、最大で20MHz幅の周波数方向のサーチが必要となる。
上記実施形態では、MTC端末20が1つのMTCグループに属し、1つMTC-GP_RNTIが付与される例を説明した。一方、MTC端末20をアップリンクとダウンリンクで分けてグループ化することも考えられる。第4の実施形態はこの点に着目するものであり、第4の実施形態によるMTC端末20は、複数のMTCグループに属し、複数のMTC-GP_RNTIが付与される。以下、16を参照して具体例を説明する。
以上説明したように、第1の実施形態~第4の実施形態は、セカンドサーチスペースを用いることによりPDCCH内のサーチスペースを小さくする。これに対し、以下に説明する第5実施形態~第7の実施形態は、MTCグループを構成する複数のMTC端末20で共有されるリソース情報をCCEに記載することによりPDCCH内のサーチスペースを小さくする。以下、第5実施形態~第7の実施形態について順次に説明する。
MTC端末20のアプリケーションには、自動販売機における販売実績の報告、ガス水道などの使用量の報告など、蓄積情報を報告するアプリケーションが多いと考えられる。この場合、基地局10は、複数のMTC端末20に対して蓄積情報の報告を指示する共通のコマンドを用いることが可能である。
アップリンクにおいては、複数のMTC端末20が同一のリソースブロックで送信処理を行うと、アップリンクデータが基地局10において衝突してしまう。そこで、基地局10は、MTCグループのアップリンクための基準リソースブロックを示すリソース情報をCCEに記載する。さらに、基地局10は、MTCグループに付与されたMTC-GP_RNTIに基づくチェックビットをCCEに付加することにより、CCEをMTC-GP_RNTIにより識別可能な状態で送信する。
以上、第5の実施形態によるリソース情報の共有について説明した。続いて、図20を参照し、第5の実施形態による無線通信システム1の動作を説明する。
第6の実施形態は、第5の実施形態に図15を参照して説明した第3の実施形態を適用することにより実現される。具体的には、第6の実施形態による基地局10は、同一のMTCグループのためのリソース情報を含むCCEを所定のサブキャリアに配置する。かかる構成によれば、MTC端末20は、所定のサブキャリアのみを時間方向にブライドデコーディングすればよいので、MTC端末20におけるブライドデコーディングに関する負荷を大幅に軽減することが可能である。
第7の実施形態は、第5の実施形態に図16を参照して説明した第4の実施形態を適用することにより実現される。具体的には、第7の実施形態によるMTC端末20は、アップリンク用のMTCグループと、ダウンリンク用のMTCグループに属する。このため、MTC端末20は、ダウンリンク用のグループ識別子であるMTC-DownLink_RNTI、およびアップリンク用のグループ識別子であるMTC-UpLink_RNTIが付与される。
以上説明したように、本発明の第1実施形態~第4の実施形態によれば、各MTC端末20に対するリソース情報(assign、grant)をPDSCH内のセカンドサーチスペースにマッピングすることにより、多数のMTC端末20に対するリソース情報を収容することが可能となる。さらに、PDCCH内のCCEの数を抑制できるので、MTC端末20がブラインドデコーディングを行うサーチスペースを減らすことができる。その結果、MTC端末20におけるブラインドデコーディングに関する負荷を軽減することが可能である。

Claims (15)
- 制御領域およびデータ領域から構成されるフレームにおいて無線信号を送信する送信部と;
複数の無線端末に付与されたグループ識別子により識別される参照先情報を含み、前記制御領域において送信される制御信号を生成する制御信号生成部と;
前記データ領域内で前記参照先情報の示す参照先領域に前記複数の無線端末に対する情報を配置してデータ信号を生成するデータ信号生成部と;
を備える、基地局。 - 前記データ信号生成部は、前記参照先情報の示す参照先領域に、前記複数の無線端末の各々の端末識別子により識別される前記複数の無線端末の各々に対する情報を配置する、請求項1に記載の基地局。
- 前記複数の無線端末の各々に対する情報は、アップリンク用のリソース情報、またはダウンリンク用のリソース情報を含む、請求項2に記載の基地局。
- 前記アップリンク用のリソース情報、またはダウンリンク用のリソース情報は、前記複数の無線端末の各々に対する情報が配置されたフレームの次以降のフレーム内のリソースを示す、請求項3に記載の基地局。
- 前記データ信号生成部は、複数フレームにわたり、1のフレームの制御領域に配置された参照先情報の示す前記データ領域内の同一の参照先領域に前記複数の無線端末に対する情報を配置する、請求項4に記載の基地局。
- 前記複数の無線端末には、アップリンク用のグループ識別子、およびダウンリンク用のグループ識別子が付与されており、
前記データ信号生成部は、アップリンク用のグループ識別子により識別される参照先情報の示す参照先領域には前記複数の無線端末の各々に対するアップリンク用のリソース情報を配置し、
ダウンリンク用のグループ識別子により識別される参照先情報の示す参照先領域においては前記複数の無線端末の各々に対するダウンリンク用のリソース情報を配置する、請求項4に記載の基地局。 - 前記制御信号生成部は、同一のグループ識別子により識別される参照先情報を、前記制御領域中の所定の周波数領域に配置する、請求項6に記載の基地局。
- 前記制御信号生成部は、前記参照先情報を前記グループ識別子でマスキングしながら得られたチェックビットを前記参照先情報に付加する、請求項7に記載の基地局。
- 制御領域およびデータ領域から構成されるフレーム中の前記制御領域において送信される制御信号であって、複数の無線端末に付与されたグループ識別子により識別される参照先情報を含む制御信号を生成するステップと;
前記データ領域内で前記参照先情報の示す参照先領域に前記複数の無線端末に対する情報を配置してデータ信号を生成するステップと;
前記制御信号および前記データ信号を送信するステップと;
を含む、無線通信方法。 - コンピュータを、
制御領域およびデータ領域から構成されるフレームにおいて無線信号を送信する送信部と;
複数の無線端末に付与されたグループ識別子により識別される参照先情報を含み、前記制御領域において送信される制御信号を生成する制御信号生成部と;
前記データ領域内で前記参照先情報の示す参照先領域に前記複数の無線端末に対する情報を配置してデータ信号を生成するデータ信号生成部と;
として機能させるための、プログラム。 - 複数の無線端末と;
制御領域およびデータ領域から構成されるフレームにおいて無線信号を送信する送信部、
前記複数の無線端末に付与されたグループ識別子により識別される参照先情報を含み、前記制御領域において送信される制御信号を生成する制御信号生成部、および、
前記データ領域内で前記参照先情報の示す参照先領域に前記複数の無線端末に対する情報を配置してデータ信号を生成するデータ信号生成部、
を有する基地局と;
を備える、無線通信システム。 - 無線端末であって、
制御領域およびデータ領域から構成されるフレームにおいて基地局から送信される無線信号を受信する受信部と;
前記制御領域において受信される制御信号から、前記無線端末を含む複数の無線端末に付与されたグループ識別子により識別される参照先情報を取得し、
前記データ領域内で前記参照先情報の示す参照先領域において受信されるデータ信号から、前記無線端末に付与された端末識別子により識別されるデータ部分を取得する取得部と;
を備える、無線端末。 - 前記取得部は、前記基地局により前記グループ識別子が使用されないと判断される場合、前記制御領域において受信される制御信号から、前記無線端末に付与された端末識別子により識別されるデータ部分を取得する、請求項12に記載の無線端末。
- 無線端末による無線通信方法であって、
制御領域およびデータ領域から構成されるフレームにおいて基地局から送信される無線信号を受信するステップと;
前記制御領域において受信される制御信号から、前記無線端末を含む複数の無線端末に付与されたグループ識別子により識別される参照先情報を取得するステップと;
前記データ領域内で前記参照先情報の示す参照先領域において受信されるデータ信号から、前記無線端末に付与された端末識別子により識別されるデータ部分を取得するステップと;
を含む、無線通信方法。 - コンピュータを、
無線端末であって、
制御領域およびデータ領域から構成されるフレームにおいて基地局から送信される無線信号を受信する受信部と;
前記制御領域において受信される制御信号から、前記無線端末を含む複数の無線端末に付与されたグループ識別子により識別される参照先情報を取得し、
前記データ領域内で前記参照先情報の示す参照先領域において受信されるデータ信号から、前記無線端末に付与された端末識別子により識別されるデータ部分を取得する取得部と;
を備える無線端末として機能させるための、プログラム。
