Abstract

A jewellery piece (150) including a coupling mechanism (100) for securing an accessory (164) to the jewellery piece, the coupling mechanism comprising: a retaining hook (110) fixed to the jewellery piece, the retaining hook being movable between an open configuration in which the hook enables introduction of an accessory to the coupling mechanism and removal of an accessory from the coupling mechanism, and a closed configuration in which the hook couples the accessory to the jewellery piece.
