Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil à ultrasons portatif comportant (a) un premier bras qui comporte un transducteur ultrasonore, (b) une poignée et (c) un deuxième bras, un des bras étant monté de manière rigide sur la poignée et l'autre bras étant monté pivotant sur la poignée pour maintenir une mèche de cheveux entre le premier et le deuxième bras, afin de tuer une infestation des cheveux au moyen du transducteur ultrasonore. L'invention porte également sur un procédé permettant de tuer une infestation des cheveux et consistant (a) à pincer une mèche de cheveux entre les bras de l'appareil portatif, un des bras contenant un transducteur ultrasonore, et (b) à envoyer des ultrasons à la mèche de cheveux au moyen du transducteur ultrasonore.
