Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de microkératome utilisé pour découper un capot dans l'oeil humain, comprenant plusieurs composants à fonction différente, remplaçables indépendamment (14, 18, 28, 30) qui présentent respectivement une caractéristique spécifique. Ledit système comprend également une unité de commande (36) destinée à commander le fonctionnement du système de microkératome. Cette unité de commande a accès à des informations enregistrées qui représentent une combinaison prédéfinie des caractéristiques spécifiques d'au moins un nombre partiel desdits composants. Le système de microkératome selon l'invention comporte également un dispositif d'entrée (46) servant à entrer des informations qui représentent une combinaison souhaitée des caractéristiques spécifiques d'au moins un nombre partiel des composants. L'unité de commande est conçue pour comparer la combinaison de caractéristiques souhaitée avec la combinaison de caractéristiques prédéfinie et induire une réaction en fonction du résultat de comparaison. L'utilisateur est ainsi rendu attentif aux combinaisons risquées sans devoir se fier uniquement à son expérience pour sélectionner des composants.
