Abstract
A configuration method for a Channel State Indication - Reference Signal (CSI-RS) in a mobile communication system comprises: an eNB notifying a UE of the configuration information of a CSI-RS, the configuration information containing a period, a sub-frame offset, and location information of the CSI-RS. In the method, the UE is notified of the location information by means of an implicit approach in which the location information is calculated according to a cell identifier and antenna information, or by means of an explicit approach in which the location information is contained in signals, or by means of a combination of the implicit approach and the explicit approach. An eNB notifies a UE of CSI-RS location information by using an aforementioned approach, allowing the UE to accurately obtain CSI-RS information and to use the CSI-RS at these locations to calculate and send back the precoding matrix indicator and the channel quality indicator to the eNB, and the eNB can use the fedback information to conduct dispatching, adaptive modulation and coding, and precoding.
