Abstract

The invention relates to a power plant (1) and method for generating electrical power using steam. The power plant (1) comprises a liquid tank (10) for receiving a liquid from which steam is to be generated, a pipe system (20) connected to the liquid tank (10) such that said pipe system can be fed with liquid from the liquid tank (10), and a plurality of separate combustion chambers (37) each disposed at the pipe system (20) at a predetermined distance from each other for heating the liquid from the liquid tank (10) into steam in the pipe system (20).
