Abstract

The invention relates to a glass receptacle profile (1) having a base region (2), a fixed profile flange (3) constructed integrally with the base region and a profile flange (4) which can be clipped on after the insertion of a glass element (20). According to the invention the base region (2) has a first (5) and a second retaining web (6) which delimit a receiving groove (7) which runs in the longitudinal direction of the profile and opens in a direction normal to the plane of the glass element (20), wherein the receiving groove (7) receives securing elements (8) which can be inserted separately, bear against the surface (21) of the glass element (20) and press the glass element onto the fixed profile flange (3).
