Abstract
Description
(A)マカデミアナッツ油脂肪酸フィトステリル、
(B)メチルポリシロキサン、及び
(C)トリ2-エチルヘキサン酸グリセリル、メチルフェニルポリシロキサン、エチルヘキサン酸セチル、テトラエチルヘキサン酸ペンタエリスリチル、及びピバリン酸トリプロピレングリコールからなる群から選択される一種または二種以上の油分を含み、
前記(A)と(C)との配合量比率が、(A):(C)=1:3~1:200であることを特徴とする乳化組成物を提供する。
マカデミアナッツ油脂肪酸フィトステリルは、マカデミアナッツ油とフィトステロールとのエステル化物であり、細胞間脂質と類似構造を持ち、単独でラメラ液晶を形成することができる植物由来原料である。
前記油分は、前記列挙した油剤から選択されるのが好ましいが、同等の特性を有し本発明の効果を奏するものであれば他の油剤に置換してもよい。
成分Cの配合量がマカデミアナッツ油脂肪酸フィトステリルの配合量の3倍未満であると、マカデミアナッツ油脂肪酸フィトステリルの結晶析出を有効に抑制できない。逆にマカデミアナッツ油脂肪酸フィトステリルの200倍以上を配合しても特性の更なる向上は見られない。
本発明の乳化組成物にPEGを配合する場合の配合量は、通常は0.01~30質量%、好ましくは0.5~15質量%である。
他の成分としては、特に限られないが、アルコール類、増粘剤、中和剤、液状油分(前記成分B及びCを除く)、固形油分、半固形油分、界面活性剤、キレート剤、防腐剤、香料、紫外線吸収剤、薬剤、保湿剤、粉末等を挙げることができる。
本発明の乳化組成物は、化粧水、乳液、クリーム、ジェル、美容液(エッセンス)などの形態の乳化化粧料として提供することができる。
下記表1及び2に掲げた組成の試料を調製し、当該試料を使用したときの使用性(なめらかさ及びハリ感)並びにマカデミアナッツ油脂肪酸フィトステリルの結晶析出について評価した。
使用性に関しては、15名の専門パネラーにより各試料を使用してもらい、次の基準で評価した。
○:10名以上のパネラーが該当すると回答した。
△:5~9名のパネラーが該当すると回答した。
×:4名以下のパネラーが該当すると回答した。
マカデミアナッツ油脂肪酸フィトステリルの結晶析出に関しては、各試料を偏光板に挟んで顕微鏡観察し、結晶析出の有無を確認した。
○:結晶析出が観察されなかった。
×:結晶析出が観察された。

前記(A)と(C)との配合量比率が、(A):(C)=1:3~1:200であることを特徴とする乳化組成物。 - (D)ポリエチレングリコールを更に含有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の乳化組成物。
- (A)マカデミアナッツ油脂肪酸フィトステリルの配合量が0.001~10質量%であり、(B)メチルポリシロキサンの配合量が0.1~30質量%であることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の乳化組成物。
