Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil d'exercice (100), en particulier un appareil d'exercice sous l'eau, comportant des pédales (104) à actionner avec les pieds et/ou des leviers (106r; 1061) à actionner avec les bras, lesquels sont commandés par une personne (P) principalement en position assise, et comportant au moins un dispositif de commande destiné à mesurer, commander et/ou régler la puissance d'exercice. Selon l'invention, les pédales (104) et/ou les leviers (106r; 1061) sont couplés mécaniquement à au moins un moteur électrique et à au moins un dispositif de freinage; ledit moteur électrique et ledit dispositif de freinage sont réalisés et sont commandés par le dispositif de commande de telle sorte que les pédales (104) et/ou les leviers (106r; 1061) permettent, de manière définie, d'absorber une énergie appliquée par la personne (P), de même que de transmettre une énergie à cette personne (P). L'invention concerne également un procédé de fonctionnement d'un appareil d'exercice, ainsi qu'un système de mesure, de commande et/ou de réglage de la puissance sur un appareil d'exercice.
