Abstract
An optical tracking system includes at least one optical emitter adapted to emit an optical signal including a modulated pattern of pulsed light, at least one camera with a field of view directed toward a pre-defined area operable to capture radiation from the optical signal over a stream of captured image frames, and a processing unit adapted to receive input from the at least one camera and to identify an area on the image frames where input was received from the optical signal based on differences in intensities between contiguous frames in the stream that receive input from the optical signal.
