Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a plant for depolymerising materials containing hydrocarbons, such as residues, synthetic polymers containing hydrocarbon, or also used oil, wherein in a fission reactor the material is converted into a gaseous fraction and a bottom fraction and in a device for separating a solid fraction and a liquid fraction, the bottom fraction is divided into a liquid fraction and a fraction containing solid material.
