Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé d'aide au diagnostic d'un cancer du sein et/ou à la surveillance de la progression d'un cancer du sein dans un échantillon donné sur la base de l'analyse de modèles de méthylation différentielle d'ADN. Plus particulièrement, le procédé est destiné à l'identification d'un ou plusieurs marqueurs épigénétiques dérivant de l'application d'une variété de procédés statistiques afin de mettre en évidence la signification pronostique de la différence des états de méthylation au niveau d'un ou de plusieurs locus génomiques et de prévoir si l'échantillon analysé comporte un bon ou un mauvais pronostic après le traitement.
