Description
DESCRIPTION
A BOTTLE RACK ARRANGEMENT
Field of the Invention
This invention is related to a bottle rack with a lever arm developed to prevent lack of space and to prevent the wire racks from reducing the internal volume of the closets or required to store / keep the bottles and the cylindrical goods such as mineral water, beer, wine bottles, water bottles and canned beverages in the closets and especially in the refrigerators.
Background of the Invention
One of the most important problems about the refrigerators is that their rack volumes can not be adjusted according to the momentary needs of the user and / or the difficulties experienced during the adjustment. In other words, the volumes between the standard produced refrigerator racks sometimes don't meet the needs of the user and the user wants to change the heights between the racks. That some details such as the bottle racks, which are specially-designed, occupy some volume even when they are not used is a situation which limits the efficient use of the volume. Additionally, some problems are experienced such that when the cylindrical goods such as mineral water, beer, wine bottles, water bottles and canned beverages are placed horizontally into the rack they may fall out when the door of the refrigerator is opened and when they are placed vertically they may not fit into the rack.
Patent No. CA1 167510 in the known state of the art discloses a bottle rack which is mounted inside a refrigerator. The bottle rack developed by the said invention has a rack housing located inside one of the side walls of the refrigerator and two foldable lever arms on the left and right edges. When these lever arms are unfolded towards the outside, a rack in which a bottle can be stored emerges. However, in this system with two lever arms, only bottles up to a certain size can be stored and smaller bottles can not be stored in the said rack.
The bottle rack that is disclosed in Patent No CN2708203 which is another document of the known state of the art is a rack system that can be mounted on the refrigerator racks and is a mechanism that can be opened and closed as one piece.
Patent No. KR20000074255 of the known state of the art discloses a bottle rack which is mounted on the refrigerator rack and which is opened and closed as one piece. In the bottle rack developed by this invention, the racks in which the front and end of the bottle is placed are parallel to each other, therefore it occupies two bottle space even if there is only one bottle in it.
Patent No. KR20040065360 which is another document of the known state of the art discloses a bottle rack which has a side sectional view similar to a "J" shape. This bottle rack is mounted inside the side wall of the refrigerator. The bottle rack developed by this invention occupies space in the refrigerator even when there is no bottle it.
Patent No. CN2562149Y, which is another document of the known state of the art, discloses a bottle rack which can be used as one of the refrigerator racks or which can be used by being mounted on one of the refrigerator racks. According to the arrangement used here, any number of carriers can be mounted to the clamps on the refrigerator racks as desired in accordance with the number of bottles to be stored. However, it is disadvantageous in terms of volume since this arrangement stays inside the refrigerator even if it is not used. Patent No. KR20000050485A discloses another example of such racks.
Brief description of the Invention
This invention discloses a bottle rack arrangement which is mounted in foldable manner on one or more of the side walls of the refrigerator, which provides extra volume by being closed when not in use and which becomes a bottle rack when opened. In the rack housing on the side wall, there are carrier arms on which the bottles are placed and there is a mechanism lever arm which helps opening and closing of these carrier arms.
This invention is related to a rack assembly which is mounted on a side wall inside the refrigerator volume and which is mainly used to horizontally store the cylindrical goods such as bottles and jars.
Object of the Invention
The object of this invention is to develop a foldable bottle rack arrangement which provides optimum use of space without reducing the internal volume of the refrigerator and which ensures that cylindrical goods stored/kept in the refrigerator such as bottles and jars occupy minimum space.
Another object of this invention is to develop a bottle rack arrangement such that when it is not used it can be folded inside one of the refrigerator side walls and does not occupy any extra space.
Another object of this invention is to ensure that food products with different kinds of packings can be placed into the refrigerator in a safe manner.

Detailed description of the Invention
Figure 1 - 4 shows a sample bottle rack arrangement and how this rack arrangement is located inside the refrigerator. Said rack is a bottle rack (1 ) arrangement which is located efficiently inside the refrigerator for the bottles that should be stored and which is fixed into the housing (4) on the refrigerator side walls (7) by being folded in order not to occupy space and not to stay idle in the refrigerator when not in use. Said bottle rack (1 ) arrangement mainly consists of a housing (4) located on one or more of the refrigerator side walls (7) or into the refrigerator door (not shown in the figures), carrier arms (2) on which the bottles (5) are placed and the mechanism lever arm (3) which helps opening and closing of the bottle rack (1 ).
Figure 1 shows a sample bottle rack (1 ) installed on a refrigerator side wall (7). The bottle rack (1 ) is fixed inside a housing (4) on a refrigerator side wall (7) by using the installation elements (8) (shown in Figure 2) and the connection elements (9). The bottle rack (1 ) comprises at least two carrier arms (2) and at least one mechanism lever arm (3) connected to the carrier arms (2) which ensures simultaneous movement of these carrier arms (2).
Figure 2 shows a top view of a sample bottle rack (1 ) arrangement. The carrier arms which are installed into the housing (4) by the connection elements (10) (shown in Figure 3) are connected to each other by the mechanism lever arm (3). By this way, it is ensured that the carrier arms (2) move simultaneously. The connection element (9) is fixed inside a housing (4) on the refrigerator side wall (7) by using the upper and lower pins (1 1 , 12) (shown in Figure 3) of another connection element (10). Moreover, in order to eliminate the need of using the installation elements (8) which fix the housing (4) in the refrigerator as shown in Figure 2 and in order to facilitate the installation, the housing (4) can be molded during the production into a selected side wall (7) or door (not shown in the figures) inside the refrigerator internal volume.
Figure 3 shows a general view of a carrier arm (2) of a sample bottle rack (1 ) and the mechanism lever arm (3) connected to the carrier arm (2). As shown in Figure 4 the carrier arm pin (2a) is fixed into the pin housing (3a) on the mechanism lever arm (3), since the carrier arm pin (2a) has a protrusion, it goes into the pin housing (3a) by flexing and then is fixed. This fixing process is done for each carrier arm (2). Thus the mechanism lever arm (3) can pivot around the carrier arm pin (2a) due to the pin housing (3a). Furthermore, the carrier arm pins (2a) with protrusions on the carrier arms (2) ensure that the carrier arms (2) are opened and closed by the same angle and work simultaneously. Said carrier arm pins (2) can be tight fitted metal pins as well as having protrusions.
Figure 5 shows the closed state of a sample bottle rack (1 ) arrangement inside a housing (4) on a refrigerator side wall (7). The rack arrangement is opened to place the bottle (5) by providing a 90 degree angle with respect to the carrier arm (2) through pulling the mechanism lever arm (3) (shown in Figure 1 and 2). In this state when the mechanism lever arm (3), the housing (4) is pushed, a 0 degree angle is obtained with respect to the carrier arm (2) and the rack arrangement is closed inside the housing (4).
The sample bottle rack (1 ) arrangement shown in the figures contains three carrier arms (2), but the number of carrier arms (2) can be increased or decreased according to the need. Moreover, multiple bottle racks (1 ) which are located on one or more of the refrigerator side walls (7) between the refrigerator racks (6) can be placed between more than one rack (6) and / or side by side.
