  • This invention relates to an aerosol spray or atomizer actuator button that dispenses the content from a container and emits a light. More specifically, it is integration of two properties; spraying and illuminating into new device.

  • Today's spray actuator buttons are mainly designed to satisfy the best mechanical performances and design requirements. However, the user has to estimate the correct spraying direction himself. Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide the illuminant spray or atomizer actuator button.
  • Primary goal of this invention is to provide an actuator button for spray or atomizer container integrated with a lighting device to enable the user to precisely highlight the field at the object to be sprayed prior to releasing the container content thus minimizing undesired contamination and material waste.
  • Secondary goal is to enable the user to visually control amount of released content during spraying by illuminating the sprayed beam.
  • An additional goal is to enable the user to use spray where no sufficient lighting is provided.

  • the illuminant spray actuator button includes lighting device which comprises of light emitting body with lens (A), power unit (B) and switch contact (C).
  • the light emitting body is aligned with the actuator nozzle or the orifice into the same direction and electrically connected to power unit via contact switch.
  • the contact switch is activated by applying a small amount of pressure at the actuator button. That small amount of pressure is not sufficient to start spraying action of releasing the container content, but is sufficient to switch the contacts to power, a light emitting body on. In this position the user is visually enabled to move the highlighted spot at desired location prior to spraying and start spraying buy applying more pressure at the actuator button until the amount of pressure is sufficient to engage spraying.
  • This invention could be applied to any type of spray or atomizer actuator button used in Commercial, Industrial, Professional and Consumer field, regardless of the container content, wherever the "user friendly" actuator button is needed.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un bouton actionneur éclairant de pulvérisation, obtenu en intégrant un dispositif d'éclairage avec un bouton actionneur de pulvérisation pour former un nouveau dispositif. Celui-ci permet à l'utilisateur de confirmer visuellement le point visé avant de libérer le contenu du récipient, et également de confirmer visuellement la quantité de contenu éjecté, minimisant ainsi le gaspillage accidentel de substance et la pollution. Il permet également à l'utilisateur d'effectuer une pulvérisation dans des endroits insuffisamment éclairés.
