Abstract

The present invention relates to a container loading system capable of random loading and carrying to optionally load and carry out containers in the harbor. As freight using mid- or large- size containers increases, container congestion in the harbor where freight is loaded and unloaded has also been increased gradually. Therefore, there is an urgent need for an unmanned system that can minimize the congestion and separately load and carry necessary containers in optimum conditions. To this end, there is developed a container loading system comprising: a transferring and loading structure that has an elevating travel path at the center and is configured to stack containers in a multilayer form on both sides; an elevating transfer device for transferring, in horizontal directions, the containers that are loaded on the elevating travel path of the transferring and loading structure; a control unit; a container entry/exit control unit for loading and unloading containers at the lowermost bottom surface of the loading unit on and from a vehicle; and a horizontal transfer unit constituted by a guiding roller that can guide a horizontal direction transfer of containers in the transferring and loading structure. In the present invention, the elevating transfer device for a vertical direction transfer and the loading unit for loading and storing the containers are designed as separate units. Especially because the transferring and loading operations can be done with a single drive motor of the elevating transfer device, it is now possible to simplify the structure and optimize the power required.
