Abstract

The present invention relates to a process and a device for cleaning substrates. In particular the invention relates to an air-water jet device coupled to the motor (4) of a conventional washing machine. It is an object of the present invention to provide coupling means (2) to use the washing machine motor (4) to operate an air compressor (3) and to provide an integrated washing machine and air-water jet device. Surprisingly it has been found that a coupling device (2) connected to the shaft of the washing machine motor to alternatively engage the air compressor (3) of an air-water jet device and the washing machine drum, meets at least one of the objects above.
