Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de production d'un feuillard à chaud mince (1) par laminage de coulée continue dans un processus sans fin. Le dispositif comprend une machine de coulée (2) dans laquelle est tout d'abord coulée une brame mince (3), au moins un train de laminage (4, 5) monté en aval de la machine de coulée (2), dans lequel la brame mince (3) est laminée à l'aide de la chaleur primaire de l'opération de coulée, et un certain nombre de cages finisseuses (7) agencées dans une zone arrière (6) dans la direction de transport (F) du feuillard (1) et dans lesquelles le feuillard (1) peut être laminé à une épaisseur finale par des cylindres de travail (8). L'invention vise à améliorer la production d'un feuillard à chaud mince dans un processus sans fin. A cet effet, les cylindres de travail (8) des cages finisseuses (7) présentent une surface de cylindre résistant à l'usure. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production d'un feuillard à chaud mince (1) par laminage de coulée continue dans un processus sans fin.
