Abstract
L'invention porte sur un pré-refroidisseur qui comprend une ou plusieurs cellules qui sont orientées autour d'un flux d'air à refroidir. Un boîtier définit un périmètre de la cellule avec une entrée et une sortie pour l'air qui le traverse. Des buses de sortie d'eau placées dans le boîtier sont de préférence portées par des barres qui orientent les buses face à une direction inverse de celle de l'écoulement de l'air à travers le boîtier. Chaque buse est accouplée à un étage séparé, les étages multiples de buses étant accouplés à des vannes séparées. Un dispositif de commande ouvre ou ferme les différentes vannes. Le dispositif de commande mesure les conditions d'humidité et de température ambiantes, ainsi que les débits d'air pour calculer la quantité d'eau qui devra être ajoutée à l'air, et ouvre ensuite des nombres appropriés d'étages de vannes, de telle sorte qu'un nombre approprié de buses pulvérise de l'eau dans l'air pour saturer l'air. La commande du débit d'air est aussi prévue sans variation de pression pour assurer une performance optimale des buses.
