- FIG.3 (a) shows the accommodation state of a monitor
- FIG.3 (b) shows a viewing-and-listening state
- 4A and 4B are perspective side views showing the configuration of the spring side of the in-vehicle display device shown in FIG. 1, in which FIG. 4A shows the storage state of the monitor and FIG. 4B shows the viewing state.
- 5A and 5B are perspective side views showing the configuration of the gear side of the in-vehicle display device shown in FIG. 1, in which FIG. 5A shows a storage state of the monitor, and FIG.
- FIG. 1 is an external perspective view showing a configuration of an in-vehicle display device according to Embodiment 1 of the present invention, and shows a storage state of a monitor 1.
- FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing a configuration around the rotating shaft 1a of the monitor 1 with a part of the exterior of the in-vehicle display device omitted.
- the in-vehicle display device has the housing 2 attached to the vehicle ceiling, and the monitor 1 is housed in the housing 2 substantially horizontally with the ceiling surface.
- a rotary shaft 1a is connected to the monitor 1, and the monitor 1 rotates (opens and closes) with respect to the housing 2 around the rotary shaft 1a.
- FIGS. 3A and 3B are perspective views showing the rotational position of the gear 4 of the in-vehicle display device.
- FIG. 3A shows the housed state of the monitor 1 and FIG. In the first embodiment, a state in which the monitor 1 is opened by 70 ° from the housing 2 is referred to as a viewing state.
- FIG. 4 is a perspective side view showing a configuration of the on-vehicle display device on the spring 3 side, FIG. 4 (a) shows a stored state, and FIG. 4 (b) shows a viewing state.
- a spring 3 is wound around one end of the rotating shaft 1 a, one arm of the spring 3 is fixed to the monitor 1, and the other arm is fixed to the housing 2. This spring 3 always applies tension in the opening direction of the monitor 1 to the rotating shaft 1a.
- FIG. 5 is a perspective side view showing the configuration of the in-vehicle display device on the side of the gear 4, FIG. 5 (a) shows the storage state, and FIG. 5 (b) shows the viewing state.
- the gear 4 is fixed to the other end of the rotating shaft 1a, and the rotating shaft 1a and the gear 4 rotate integrally.
- the gear 4 has a fan shape with a central angle (70 ° or more in this example) slightly wider than the angle at which the monitor 1 rotates from the housed state to the viewing state, and teeth are formed on the arc portion.
- a gear damper 5 having a base plate 5a is attached to the housing 2 on the other end side of the rotating shaft 1a. The gear damper 5 rotates while meshing with the gear 4 when the monitor 1 rotates, and generates resistance against the tension of the spring 3.
- a locking hole 1c is provided on the rotation tip side opposite to the side on which the rotation shaft 1a of the monitor 1 is provided.
- the other housing 2 is provided with a monitor locking hook 6 and a locking release button 7 at a position facing the locking hole 1c of the monitor 1 in the housed state.
- the monitor locking hook 6 locks the monitor 1 inside the housing 2 by hooking its claw into the locking hole 1 c of the monitor 1 by the tension of the monitor locking hook spring 6 a.
- the lock release button 7 moves upward against the tension of the lock release button spring 7a to lock the monitor lock hook 6 and the lock hole 1c. To release.
- a stopper 9 is projected from the tip of the monitor 1 on the side where the rotating shaft 1a is provided.
- the stopper receiver 8 is erected at an angle (70 ° in this example) corresponding to the viewing state of the monitor 1.
- the monitor locking hook 6 of the housing 2 hooks the locking hole 1c of the monitor 1 and holds the monitor 1 so that the posture of the monitor 1 is substantially horizontal with the vehicle ceiling 10. .
- chatter vibration is suppressed even when receiving in-vehicle vibration.
- the monitor 1 When the locking of the monitor locking hook 6 and the locking hole 1c is released, the monitor 1 will open vigorously due to the tension of the spring 3 and the fall of the monitor 1 due to its own weight, and there is a possibility that the merchantability is lost.
- the gear 4 that rotates integrally with the rotating shaft 1a meshes with the gear damper 5 to generate a resistance force in the direction opposite to the tension of the spring 3, the monitor 1 rotates smoothly.
- the viewer can automatically rotate the monitor 1 to a position where it can be viewed smoothly and smoothly only by pressing the lock release button 7 in the storage state.
- the speed at which the monitor 1 rotates can be controlled by adjusting the gear ratio between the gear 4 and the gear damper 5 or adjusting the resistance force of the gear damper 5.
- the gear damper 5 having a characteristic in which the resistance force increases as the rotational speed increases and the gear ratio between the gear damper 5 and the gear 4 is set to 1: 2, thereby changing the gear damper 5 to 2 of the gear 4. Rotating at double speed to obtain high resistance.
- the rotation of the monitor 1 stops when the stopper 9 comes into contact with the stopper receiver 8.
- the viewer views the monitor screen 1b of the monitor 1 in the angular position state shown in FIG. Since the monitor 1 in the viewing state is always pushed in the opening direction by the tension of the spring 3, the monitor 1 is held in that state, does not rotate backward due to its own weight, and chatter vibration is suppressed even when receiving in-vehicle vibration.
- the in-vehicle display device mounted on the vehicle ceiling 10 is required to be downsized in order to cope with a sunroof or the like and a small ceiling mounting area. Therefore, in the first embodiment, the monitor 1 is automatically rotated with a small number of components including the spring 3, the gear 4, and the gear damper 5, and a relatively simple structure. The structure is unnecessary and the size can be reduced. Further, the spring 3 is arranged on one end side of the rotating shaft 1a of the monitor 1 and the gear 4 and the gear damper 5 are arranged on the other end side, so that the spring 3, the gear 4 and the gear damper 5 are arranged on both ends of the rotating shaft 1a. Compared to the case, the size can be reduced, the right and left balance can be achieved, and the design can be improved. In particular, when the large spring 3 is used to enable the monitor 1 to be held in the viewing state with an urging force larger than the weight of the monitor 1, there is a great merit in disposing the spring 3, the gear 4 and the gear damper 5 separately.
- the in-vehicle display device mounted on the vehicle ceiling 10 is usually attached to the ceiling surface between the driver seat and the rear seat. For this reason, in order to ensure the driver's rear view, the vehicle-mounted display device is required to be thin when the monitor 1 is housed. Therefore, in the first embodiment, the in-vehicle display device is thinned while securing the gear diameter necessary for adjusting the rotation speed of the monitor 1 by making the gear 4 into a fan shape. Furthermore, the vehicle-mounted display device can be further reduced in thickness by disposing the gear damper 5 diagonally above instead of directly above the rotating shaft 1a. Further, by forming the gear 4 in a fan shape, the gear 4 is not exposed to the outside from the housing 2 even when the monitor 1 is opened, so that the appearance of the product can be improved.
- the rotation of the monitor 1 is performed.
- a spring 3 that is attached to the shaft 1a and urges the monitor 1 to open, a gear 4 that is fixed to the rotating shaft 1a and rotates integrally with the rotating shaft 1a, and a gear 4 that is fixed to the housing 2 and meshes with the gear 4
- the gear damper 5 that generates a resistance force in the direction opposite to the biasing force of the spring 3, the stopper 9 protruding from the tip of the monitor 1 on the side where the rotation shaft 1a is provided, and the monitor 1 of the housing 2 is in the viewing position.
- the monitor 1 can be opened automatically and smoothly by a relatively simple structure with a small number of components, and the operability can be improved.
- the in-vehicle display device can be reduced in size.
- the spring 3 is attached to one end side of the rotating shaft 1a, and the gear 4 is fixed to the other end side of the rotating shaft 1a. For this reason, a vehicle-mounted display apparatus can be further reduced in size. Further, the both ends of the rotating shaft 1a can be balanced, and the design can be improved.
- the spring 3 is configured to have an urging force for holding the monitor 1 in the viewing state when the stopper 9 comes into contact with the stopper receiver 8. In this way, since the biasing force of the spring 3 is increased to make the monitor 1 have vibration resistance, the tension of the spring 3 always pushes the monitor 1 in the opening direction in both the housed state and the viewing state, so Chatter vibration is suppressed.
- the gear 4 has a fan shape, and the center angle thereof is configured to be substantially the same as the viewing angle of the monitor 1. For this reason, since the gear 4 can be housed inside the housing 2 even when the monitor 1 is opened, the in-vehicle display device can be thinned and the appearance of the product can be improved.
- the configuration example in which the spring 3 is attached to one end side of the rotating shaft 1a, the gear 4 is attached to the other end side, and the gear damper 5 is arranged in FIGS.
- the configuration is such that the spring 3 and the gear 4 are attached to one end side of the rotating shaft 1a and the gear damper 5 is arranged, and the spring 3 and the gear 4 are also attached to the other end side and the gear damper 5 is arranged. Also good. Even in this configuration, the monitor 1 can be automatically and smoothly opened with a small number of components and a relatively simple structure, so that the operability can be improved and the in-vehicle display device can be downsized.
- the on-vehicle display device automatically rotates the monitor 1 with a simple structure using the spring 3, the gear 4, and the gear damper 5, so that the monitor is suspended from the ceiling for viewing. It is suitable for use in a vehicle-mounted display device that requires vibration resistance, such as a display device.

Abstract
