Abstract

The invention relates to a heat exchanger (1), particularly a tube heat exchanger, for contaminated media such as exhaust gas, having a gas inlet opening (20) and a gas outlet opening (21), having a temperature-control medium inlet opening (24) and a temperature-control medium outlet opening (25), and a cleaning device (3), wherein a rotatable cleaning coil (4) of the cleaning device (3) is disposed in a ring gap (8) of the heat exchanger (1) permeated by contaminated exhaust gas, the outer edge (5) thereof being adjacent to the outer transfer surface (9) at least in one segment (10) thereof.
