Abstract

The present invention relates to a safety cover for an agricultural weeder, in which a floating member is arranged to maintain a cover body floating above the ground during weeding to perform weeding work in a safe and easy manner, and further, both side surfaces of the cover body have respective scattering holes, not only to prevent the weeder from being damaged by cut weeds or substances but also to improve the safety of a worker. To accomplish the aim of the present invention, the safety cover for an agricultural weeder according to the present invention comprises a cover body having an open bottom, a side surface having an open portion, and a top surface having an opening for inserting a cutter-mounting unit and for fixing a shaft therein, and which has press means extending from the open side surface thereof to press weeds, wherein the cover body further comprises a floating member arranged at the position facing the press means to reduce the force transmitted via the shaft and to enable the cover body to float during weeding.
