Definitions
- the invention relates to a band clamp with a flat, in particular metallic tension band, which is tensioned by means of a clamping closure located at its ends and which limits a receiving space for fixing at least one third component, which can be fixed by means of inwardly towards the receiving space facing holding parts.
- Tape clamps of this type are known to the reason, see for example the utility model DE 92 04 571.
- holding parts which form the actual clamping areas, surface parts, which are formed by deforming both side edges of the clamping band itself. More specifically, this is at both margins of the tension band vertically raised from its surface, strip-shaped surfaces that are offset from each other.
- the later published DE 10 2008 052 229.5 discloses a band clamp with a flat, in particular metallic, tension band, which can be tensioned by means of a tension lock located at its ends and which is connected to the inside of the tension band.
- Chen holding parts which form spaced apart in the region of both side edges of the clamping band spaced clamping regions, wherein the holding parts are formed on a voltage applied to the inside of the clamping band flat, preferably metallic insert band, by surface parts thereof ben, which are raised from the surface of the insert belt and wherein at least a portion of these surface portions are inclined away from the centerline of the insert belt.
- the present invention seeks to provide a band clamp of the type considered available, which allows a uniform force application for the respective third-party component and counteracts setzeffek- even with a closed band clamp.
- a band clamp with the features of claim 1 in its entirety.
- the respective holding parts are part of an insert tape, which is supported along the inside of the clamping band and in that the holding parts in the region of both side edges of the insert belt extending spaced apart clamping areas, in the adjacent opposite On the side edges arranged holding parts are inclined towards each other to define parts of each of the respective third component by applying a clamping force between them, a band clamp is provided in which on the clamping band and the clamping force is distributed evenly over the circumference of the band on the strap supporting, so that in addition to a uniform application of force setting effects regarding the recorded components are largely excluded.
- a type of pliers function is realized for each of the third component to be received on the holding parts of the clamping areas, so that can be realized by means of the band clamp high holding and clamping forces.
- Bandschel- Ie at least the holding portions are formed clamped clamping band such a predetermined angle to each other leaning toward one another that the respective clamping holding member acts with a force vector on the male component, in the direction of the inclined holding part through this each passes through.
- the serving for clamping the respective third component web-like holding parts in the vector direction of the upcoming clamping force, the web-like holding parts claimed on buckling thus can absorb a greater force than when they are subjected to bending, as for example in a V-clamp according to DE 10th 2008 052 229.5 is the case.
- the respectively acting force vector encloses an angle of 30 ° to 60 °, preferably of approximately 45 ° with the tension force vector, which arises with tensioning of the tension band along the closed belt course. Due to the fact that in a preferred embodiment of the tensioning clamp according to the invention the tensioning band and the insertion band are held relative to each other by at least one fixing means about a predeterminable balancing section in the radial and / or axial direction, a kind of floating mounting situation is created for the insertion band in relation to the tensioning band. which accommodates the uniform application of force in the tensioned state of the band clamp. Preferably, to counteract the set effects, further provided that the respective, the clamping areas forming holding parts are resiliently resilient.
- the free ends of the mutually inclined holding parts delimit a nip of a clamping area in which flange-like widenings of two adjacent, preferably media-carrying third components engage, which are connected in a sealing manner. Due to the forceps function of the band clamp can therefore exert high clamping forces on the recorded flange so that they can be held together sealingly without further elaborate sealing devices.

- the arrangement is made in a particularly advantageous manner so that the holding parts a bending line are bent such that a bent portion is formed with one of the inclination of the respective, to be clamped surface portion corresponding inclination. While the holding parts in the unbent portion are stressed by the tension force vector generated by the clamping band to buckling and thus can absorb a large force, the force acting on the clamping force force vector acts on inclined inclined surfaces between the third component and holding part, so that a particularly uniform application of force takes place.

- the pertinent arrangement can be arranged on both sides of the strap closure 12 on the band clamp body. If necessary, the respective compensation path can also be present several times on the outer circumference of the clamp band 10 in order to be able to ensure the floating storage, in particular for large diameters of male components 30, 32 to be accommodated.
- the stegarti- gene holding parts 34 preferably resiliently resiliently formed, wherein depending on the application, the insert belt 36 may consist of a suitable plastic material, but also of a corresponding metal material having elastic properties.
- the insert belt 36 is first according to the illustration of Figure 4 from a flat belt 52 which is provided transversely to its longitudinal orientation 54 with transverse slots 56 which occupy a constant distance from each other and the edge in each case open out a continuous longitudinal web 58, which forms the side edges 40 for the loading belt 36 so far. If, as shown in FIG. 5, the two longitudinal webs are raised at the edge, they limit one another to a clamping profile 60 which slits over the transverse slots 56 into the profiled ground 62 to raise the free, mutually remote ends 64 of the insert belt 36 to form a Ring contour according to the illustration of Figure 6 for receiving the respective third component 30,32 allows. Consequently, the free ends of the mutually inclined holding parts 34 thus delimit a clamping gap 66 which, with its free opening, opens inwards in the direction of the receiving space 28.
- the insert belt 36 is formed as a kind of endless belt, which allows a cutting of clamping profiles of any length depending on the diameter of each fixed with the clamping band 10 third component 30,32. Furthermore, it is provided for a good introduction of force that the respective upwardly and inwardly bent holding part 34 is about half as long as the width of the profile base 62 of the clamping profile. Depending on the width of the tension band 10, it would thus be possible to accommodate a multiplicity of different types of insertion bands 36 in order to accommodate different types of third components 30, 32 in a predefinable diameter range. to be able to.
- the vector band clip such high clamping forces can be exerted on the flange-like widenings 44 of the third components 30, 32 that they can be placed against each other in a sealing manner without any further sealing means (cf. FIG.
- the holding parts 34 are each bent to a circumferentially extending bending line 37 relative to the profile base 62 adjacent foot part of the holding parts 34 to the outside, wherein the included angle is slightly more than 100 degrees.
- the bending line 37 is located from the free end 39 of the holding parts 34 at such a distance that the length of the bent portion 41 in the example of Fig. 10 and 1 1 corresponds to less than half the length of the non-bent foot part.
- the inclination of the bent portions 41 corresponds to the inclination of the surface part 49 to be clamped to the connecting flanges 44 of the third components 30, 32, so that the bent portions 41 each lie flat against the surface portions 49.
- FIG. 12 corresponds to the example described above, except that at a free end 39 of the holding parts 34 closer to the second bending line 43, the holding parts 34 in the same bending sense as at the first bending line 37 are gene bent.
- the thus formed, short, bent end portions 45 come to a step surface 47 for surface contact, which is located on the flange 44 at the radially inner end of the inclined surface portions 49.
- the holding parts 34 as in the first exemplary embodiment, are merely bent around a bending line 37, but bent inwards, so that the bent Sections 41 are approximated with their free end 39 to each other and the sections 41 abut against radially outwardly located surface portions 49 of the flange 44. Due to the tension force exerted by the tension band 10, the portions 41 can thus slide along the surface portions 49 by widening the clamping gap 66 formed by the holding portions 34.
- Fig. 14 differs from the embodiment of FIG. 13 in that the bent at the bending line 37 portions 41 are bent at a second bending line 43 in the opposite direction as at the first bending line 37 such that the bent end portions 45 of the overlap radially outer edge of the connecting flanges 44.
- These bent end sections 45 thus form a kind of stop on the connecting flanges 44, which limits a sliding movement of the sections 41 on the surface parts 49 of the connecting flanges 44 when the clamping force acts.
