Abstract
L'invention concerne un système de récupération et de stockage d'énergie utilisant la puissance d'une éolienne en fonctionnement. Cet air comprimé est stocké à l'intérieur d'une ou de plusieurs chambres d'une structure supportant l'éolienne au-dessus du sol. En fonctionnant à la fois comme un support physique et comme une cuve pour stocker l'air comprimé, la structure de support a une contribution relative par rapport au coût global du système de stockage et de récupération d'énergie qui peut être réduite, améliorant ainsi l'aspect économique de l'appareil de support/turbine combiné. Dans certains modes de réalisation, les forces de dilatation de l'air comprimé stocké à l'intérieur de la chambre, peuvent être utilisées pour augmenter la stabilité physique d'une structure de support, en réduisant davantage les coûts matériels de la structure de support.
