Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système de colorant destiné à être appliqué à un substrat, le système de colorant comprenant : (a) au moins un précurseur de colorant; (b) un agent oxydant; et (c) un catalyseur, le catalyseur étant un catalyseur homogène ou un catalyseur hétérogène. De préférence, le catalyseur comprend au moins un composé contenant du métal. L'invention concerne également un procédé de coloration d'un substrat, le procédé comprenant le traitement du substrat à l'aide du système de colorant selon l'invention. Dans des modes de réalisation préférés de l'invention, le substrat comprend des cheveux humains, des polymères naturels ou synthétiques, ou des fibres textiles. Dans des modes de réalisation préférés supplémentaires, le précurseur de colorant est un précurseur organique, un ou plusieurs dérivés métalliques destinés à être utilisés en tant que catalyseur comprennent au moins un composé métallique inorganique ou au moins un complexe métallique contenant au moins un ligand organique, et l'agent oxydant est du peroxyde d'hydrogène.
