Abstract

La présente invention concerne l'emploi de cendres issues des processus de traitement thermique de l'eau ou des boues d'épuration au titre de transporteur d'oxygène pour la gazéification ou la combustion des combustibles dans un procédé dit de boucle chimique. La méthode d'utilisation de fractions inorganiques provenant d'eau ou des boues d'épuration contenant des métaux de transition selon l'invention est caractérisée en ce que de l'eau en excès ou des boues d'épuration prétraitées contenant entre 5 % en masse et 95 % en masse d'oxyde de métaux de transition sont entièrement brûlées et broyées jusqu'à une granulométrie inférieure à 2 mm, puis les cendres sont calcinées à une température de 850 °C pendant 8 heures.
