Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet des méthodes et des compositions pour une détection améliorée des agents infectieux et des microbes. En particulier, la présente invention concerne de nouvelles méthodes de détection des agents infectieux, de fourniture d'informations au sujet du statut de viabilité de tels agents infectieux et de détermination de la sensibilité aux médicaments. Dans certains modes de réalisation, la présente invention utilise des techniques impliquant une identification microbienne basée sur une amplification d'acides nucléiques conjointement avec une détection biologique à base de phages de la résistance aux médicaments. Les méthodes selon la présente invention sont appropriées pour tous les microbes et les agents infectieux, y compris les agents bactériens tels que les mycobactéries.
