Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé destiné à identifier un cas de séjour prolongé concernant un objet au sein d'une zone d'intérêt à partir d'un flux vidéo. Le procédé comporte les étapes consistant à détecter un ou plusieurs objets pénétrant dans la zone d'intérêt ; à extraire(104) un instant d'entrée et des propriétés de chacun des objets ; à mémoriser (104) les instants d'entrée et les propriétés des objets ; à calculer (110) un horodatage pour chaque objet sur la base d'une différence entre une heure actuelle et l'instant d'entrée de l'objet correspondant ; et à identifier (112) un cas de séjour prolongé lorsque l'horodatage est plus long qu'une période prédéterminée.
