Abstract

The invention relates to a method, system and plug-in for collaborative management of content creation. The invention relates to methods, systems, software, a plug-in and computer media that solve current problems relating to collaborative management of remote content creation (for example, audiovisual) between a plurality of users. A user creates a content composition by remotely accessing, from his or her workstation, a software application that performs the functions of authenticating the user, encapsulating the project in a file made up of the content and the user authentication data in a secure environment, and making said file available to other users authenticated by the same software application, such that a user can remotely request processing (also known as mixing, counselling function, mastering) by another user, expert or recording studio according to agreed processing conditions.

However, it is necessary to define methods and systems that allow us to ensure that a user who creates an audiovisual project can process it, transfer it, modify it together with at least one expert or creative processor of remote audiovisual projects guaranteeing the ease of said process, the implementation in the system of agreements between both entities and the confidentiality of the transaction. The methods and systems described and claimed below solve the current need indicated above by implementing different methods for collaborative content creation (eg sequenced multimedia data) between multiple remote terminals over the internet. The methods and systems allow one or more users to solve an inconvenience hitherto not solved: manage through collaborative methods, systems and applications related to them the collaborative creation of content by several remote entities, making one or more users available to the less an expert in processing the audio-video signal sequenced multimedia data for processing / processing and for subsequent return to the initial set of users.

Currently, the user has to request said processing before a post-processing entity (also called mixers, counseling function, mastering or recording studio) and there is sometimes physical displacement of the user with his project to the recording studio where the Sound engineer or expert.

The invention allows us to establish a methodological approach to the implementation of solutions to the limitations of the prior art and also solve the current needs of the users of this sector of the technique when it comes to the ability to post-process content projects in general and audiovisual format in particular.

The indicated methods and systems allow the user, through the transmission of files with content (processed data of audio and video), with parameters of personal identification of the user and type of processing contracted necessary, the connection, transmission and processed safe and easy of a project in the places where these users are, regardless of where the audiovisual processing capacity is located (for example, recording studio), that is, they allow saving the current one impossibility of having in one place the capacities and functionalities of creation (in the part of the creator or user) and of processing of the sequenced signal (in the part of a professional study of signal processing). The invention is collected by various methods with their corresponding different computer systems and applications to implement the aforementioned.

To describe the invention more precisely, let's initially define the following concepts:

 - sequenced multimedia data: multiple multimedia data tracks synchronized with each other

 plug-in: auxiliary software program / application that works with commercial software packages to increase their capabilities and performance. Plug-ins are usually added to web browsing applications to allow them to support new types of content (audio, video, etc.). In this particular case, the plug-ins can parameterize the information of the audio-video content generated by a user such as volume, equalization, sequences, panoramic effects and other effects.

 - project: is the collection of sequenced audio and video information that will be subject to transformation / processing by experts in audio signal processing -video

 - an audio-video project with a native self-contained format: it is a file that allows any user to open that file with a specific sequencer application (local or network) on another computer, without missing any data to reproduce or process the content of said project, being able to process said file exactly the same as in the computerized workstation itself where it was originally created

 - sequencer or sequencer application: it is an isolated electronic device (stand-alone) or a software application that runs on a workstation (WS) that allows programming, recording and playback of content events,

(currently mostly audio and video) sequentially through a physical or logical control interface connected to one or more electronic musical instruments. The most widespread control interface is the MIDI standard - content export function of a sequencer application: it is one that transfers all content data (audio, video, sequencing, parameterization, etc.), normally distributed in several files, to a single self-contained file

 - Once processed by, at least, user 2 (U2) (that is, by the set of users who have participated in the project processing work have completed their work), it makes available to user 1 (Ul) The processed file.

 - In this way, user 1 (Ul) will receive the total or partial results of the work done on the original file by the last user who has made modifications to the file, for example user 2 (U2) with one or more programs sequencers (SA2), the same or compatible with UPS.

 - an encryption / encapsulation software supported by any telecommunications protocol (P) that allows user 1 (Ul) to exchange data with the software application (SW) in a secure way so that user 1 (Ul) can finally store his project in

 - the storage capacities of the server (S) so that one or more users, for example user U2, in the same way that user 1 (Ul) can access through

 - one or more computerized workstations (WS2) in order to process said file with a sequencer program (SA2), equal or compatible with UPS, and make it available to user 1 (Ul) initially on the server (S) for that user 1 (Ul) can later transmit it in a secure way to the initial device (WS1). Second method described in claim 2 comprises the following steps:

- A user 1 (Ul) accesses from his computerized workstation (WS1) with access to a telecommunications network (TN) through any communications protocol (P) to the plug-in (PI1) resident in his workstation 1 (WS1), activating the application associated with said plug-in (PI1). Activation starts the plug-in (PI1) that calls the audio-video project export function that contains the sequencer application (UPS) resident in the user's workstation 1 (WS1)

 The user 1 (Ul), when creating a composition with a particular sequencer application (UPS) resident in his workstation (WS1), creates a content project file (for example audio-video) with native self-contained format. The plug-in program (PI1) will perform the following functions:

1. The plug-in (PI1) authenticates the user who sends the file through a communications protocol (P) using a telecommunications network (TN) through a log-in and a keyword or through any other known authentication means, such as smart card, fingerprint, iris recognition, etc., so that user can access their user profile already created or create a new profile

 2. The plug-in (PIl) encrypts the audio-video project in a file consisting of multimedia and authentication data and sends it to a server (S), which stores it

 - At least one other authorized user 2 (U2) can access the file through a plug-in by opening the information with a sequencer application (SA2) and compatible with the type of file stored on the server (S), said file being plug-in the same as that of user 1 (Ul), ie (PIl), resident in a second WS2 remote workstation and can work according to what is established between user 1 (Ul) and user 2 (U2 ) relative to the desired way of working for that user 1 (Ul) according to the processing conditions of the project content between user 1 (Ul) and user 2 (U2), which can be reflected in both profiles of user reflected in the plug-in (PIl). For the implementation of the second method, the embodiment of Figure 2 (F.2) of the system claimed in claim 8, consists mainly of:

 - a device or workstation for processing the audio and video signal (WS1) where it is executed

 - said plug-in performing the authentication functions of the user 1 (Ul) and encapsulation of the audio-video project in a file consisting of the content (for example audiovisual) and the authentication data of the user 1 (Ul),

 - making it available to other users (U2) authenticated by the same resident plug-in at their respective workstations (WS2)

The fourth method described in claim 4 comprises the following steps:

a user 1 (Ul) creates a project with a specific sequencer application (UPS), resident in its workstation (WSl), accessed from its workstation 1 (WSl) with access to a telecommunications network (TN) through any communications protocol (P) so that

 - user 1 (Ul) accesses the plug-in (PI1), which

 runs a resident sequencer application (UPS) that performs a content exporting function using both functions of the sequencer application and any other application that workstation 1 (WS1) can access to perform an exporting function on the workstation (WS1) of user 1 (Ul),

 - said plug-in performing the authentication functions of the user 1 (Ul) and encapsulation of the content project (for example audio-video) in a file formed by the audiovisual content and the authentication data of the user 1 (Ul), making it available to other users (U2) authenticated by the same plug-in resident in their respective workstations (WS2) The fifth method described in claim 5 comprises the following steps:

 - A user 1 (Ul) access from his computerized workstation 1 (WS1) with a plug in (PI2) and with access to a telecommunications network (TN) through the internet communications protocol (I) to the page web (WP) that resides on a server (S)

For the implementation of the fifth method, the embodiment of Figure 3 (F.3) of the system claimed in claim 9, consists mainly of:

As a marketing element, the software storage support of the software application (SW), plug-in (PI1) and plug-in buffering (PI2) for collaborative content creation management, that is, any means to contain the application as a memory stick, DVD, blue-ray, etc. It can function as a computer support for the computer application that supports and implements the above methods. The implementation whose solution is currently being requested by the market is the particularization of the previous methods and systems for the collaborative management of audio or audiovisual content creation.
