Abstract

The invention relates to a refrigerator comprising: a body (1) surrounded by a heat-insulating wall (2) in order to form an inner chamber (3); and an upper shelf (4), with a space below, provided in the inner chamber (3). The invention is characterised in that a carrier plate (21) is placed at a distance beneath the upper shelf (4), in an open position, such that an item (6) to be refrigerated is placed on the carrier plate (21), and at least one swinging arm (25) is fixed, by an upper rotating joint (26) on one end, to the inner chamber (3), near the upper shelf (4), and by a lower rotating joint (24) on the other end, to the carrier plate (21), and lifted parallel to the upper shelf (4) in a closed position in the inner chamber (3) by a transverse movement towards the upper shelf (4).
