Abstract

The invention relates to a method for dry-coating porous or non-porous grains (5) of at least one absorbing material with a binder comprising a plurality of porous polymer particles, wherein the grains (5) are subjected to a mixing process with the polymer particles in a mixing device (6) and mechanical friction heat is produced by the mixing process, wherein the grains (5) are coated with the binder by means of the friction heat produced. The invention further relates to a method for producing at least one filter body from filter grains coated in such a way and to the filter produced therefrom.
