Abstract

The present invention relates to a secondary air supply for gas burners of a cooking range, comprising an air inlet (2) in contact with ambient air; an air outlet (3) next to the base of the flames (9) from a burner (7); an elongated duct (1) connecting the air inlet (2) to the air outlet (3), the assembly being provided under the cooking range (8) and ensuring an air flow from the air inlet (2) to the air outlet (3) by convection generated by the flames (9) from the burner (7). The duct (1) comprises a straight section (6) substantially parallel to the flat portion of the cooking range (8) and a rising section (5) oriented towards the flames (9) from the burner (7), the straight section (6) being joined to the rising section (5) by a bend (4).
