Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant de retirer ou de remplacer des câbles (8) ou bien de poser des câbles ou des lignes/conduites parallèlement à un câble (8) déjà existant dans le sol, ledit dispositif comprenant un engin de creusement (1) divisé dans son sens longitudinal en deux demi-coques (2, 3). Ces dernières peuvent être posées, dans une fosse de départ (21), sur un câble (8) continu, ne présentant aucune interruption, et être vissées ou reliées l'une à l'autre de façon à former un engin de creusement (1). L'engin de creusement (1) présente sur sa face frontale une tête sphérique (16, 17) qui est également divisée en son milieu en deux parties et qui porte une tête de creusement (14, 15) en deux parties. Un tuyau (18) fendu peut être rattaché à l'engin de creusement (1). La fente est écartée et permet, de ce fait, au tuyau (18) de se placer sur le câble continu. Dans la fosse de départ (21), des cylindres (26) à entraînement externe situés dans un bâti (27) peuvent contribuer au travail de l'engin de creusement (1) en exerçant une force de poussée sur le tuyau (18).
