Abstract

Like conventional, commercially available candles, a clean, convenient, economical and safe candle comprises a wick and a fatty substance shaped as a cylinder, but is improved according to the invention for which protection is sought with features that make it more convenient and easier to use, cleaner, more economic and safer. These features are a hemispherical or bowl shape (1) that causes the candle (4) to return to the equilibrium position whenever it is unbalanced, that is to a position perpendicular to the horizon, or to turn upside down, extinguishing the flame. These improvements are obtained by means of: (a) the arrangement of a hemispherical or bowl-shaped container made of paper, cardboard, paperboard, paper-mâché, wood, pressed wood, ceramics, glass, metal or any other material that is rigid enough to allow the use as a candle holder (1); (b) a windbreaking protection (3) for the flame, said protection being made of plastics, paper or any other material affording the required protection; and (c) a reflecting material (2) that collects and diffuses the light and heat recovered from the base of the candle.

 CLEAN, PRACTICAL, SAFE AND RECYCLABLE CANDLE

The present patent application aims to obtain privileges for a candle that best meets the user's needs, that is, needs that are not met by the ordinary candles found in general trade available to the consumer.

 The candle, a product used to illuminate, heat, adorn and follow the formulation of vows and promises, is a product that has not received improvements that make it more practical and safe. The creative activity around the candle industry and trade has been confined to artistic pieces for ornamentation and sold in bazaars, bazaars and handicraft houses.

 In homes, in religious temples, at parties and celebrations, when you need to use a candle from those bought in supermarkets, the difficulty of setting it up and the need for a candlestick to keep it upright and to prevent Burn, the fatty material - paraffin wax, stearin, sebum and so on - oozes and spreads where it is.

 The candle when it becomes unbalanced and falls does not always go out, even when it is supported by a candlestick. It is a risk to keep the candle lit and unattended.

The light and heat of the candle, produced by burning the fatty material, could be better harnessed if the candle were accompanied by a reflector and diffuser of light and heat that are lost as they travel to the base and the floor.

 Overcoming these drawbacks of candles purchased in supermarkets and in general trade is the subject-matter of the patent pending herein.
