Abstract

본 발명은 분리막을 사이에 두고 양극판과 음극판이 교대로 적층되는 동시에 일방향 혹은 양방향으로 적층하여 형성될 수 있는 전극조립체 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 양극판 집전체의 양단부 혹은 하단부를 노출하여 도막층과의 사이에 단차를 둠으로써 양극판 단차부를 형성하고, 이 양극판 단차부에 접착제를 도포하여 분리막에 부착시킴으로써 전지 제조시 전지의 두께 증가를 방지하며 조립성을 개선할 수 있는 전지용 전극조립체 및 그 제조방법을 제공한다. 또한, 음극판 집전체에도 음극판 단차부를 형성하여 접착제의 누적으로 인하여 전지 제조시 전지의 두께가 증가하는 것을 효과적으로 방지할 수 있다. 이에 따라, 접착제 도포로 인해 전지의 성능이 저하되는 것을 방지하며, 전해액의 함침성 또한 그대로 유지할 수 있는 이점이 있다.
