Abstract

영상 내의 움직임을 직접 검출하여 집중감시 카메라의 팬/틸트/줌을 제어할 수 있으며, 광역감시 영상과 집중감시 영상을 함께 원격지의 통제 장치에 전송할 수 있는 감시 카메라 장치와, 이를 사용하여 구현되는 원격 감시 시스템. 감시 카메라 장치는 원격 통제 장치(40)에서 표시할 감시 영상을 획득하며 상기 원격 통제 장치(40)의 도움이 없이도 집중감시 촬상유닛(20)을 제어하는 것으로서, 광각 촬상부(110)와, 제어 및 신호처리부(120)와, 신호 송신부(160, 162)를 구비한다. 상기 광각 촬상부(110)는 감시대상 지역에 대한 광각 영상을 획득한다. 상기 제어 및 신호처리부(120)는 광각 영상으로부터 움직임 객체의 위치를 검출하고, 움직임 객체의 위치 정보에 상응한 제어신호를 발생하여 움직임 객체를 촬영하도록 집중감시 촬상유닛(20)을 제어하며, 상기 집중감시 촬상유닛에 의해 획득되는 집중감시 영상을 받아들인다. 상기 신호 송신부(160, 162)는 상기 집중감시 영상을 포함한 상기 감시 영상을 상기 원격 통제 장치(40)로 송신한다.
