Definitions

  • This invention relates to an electric rotating applicator for a cosmetic product, such as mascara.
  • a mascara applicator element is fitted to the end of a shaft that can be rotated by a motor.
  • the mascara applicator element and the shaft are in line with each other. This aligned arrangement thus requires the user to physically move the applicator so as to cause the applicator element to simultaneously pull the user's eyelashes up and away as the mascara is being applied. This movement of the applicator needs to be carefully controlled, which is often difficult to achieve in a regular and accurate manner.
