Abstract

A double level parking system comprising of a mechanical system in which vehicles can be parked on multiple telescopically extensible rotating platforms (1) raised above each other. These platforms are capable of vertical as well as horizontal displacement within the structure of the system. The platform is also capable of being rotated so that the vehicle is brought to face in the desired direction thereby eliminating the need to maneuver the vehicle within the confined space. As the platforms can be independently operated thereby eliminating the need to remove any vehicle parked on the bottom level. The platform is operated using a chain assembly (2) forming two loops. Two guide rails (3A, 3B) in the form of inverted tracks ensure that the platform always stays horizontal to the ground.
