- the base-mould 14 can then be moved upwards to another notch 13: more in detail, as clearly shown in Figure 8, the base-block 14 is moved upwards to the height of an upper notch 13, depending on the height of the bottle to be made.
- the base-block 14 is once again fixed to the supporting means 10 by tightening the screws 18 and the screw and bush 16, 17 so that the bush 17 engages the notch 13.
- the base-mould 6 is again free to move relative to the base-block 14 but the base-mould 6 starts moving from a level higher up than the level corresponding to the position where the base- block 14 was fixed previously.
- the operator can adjust the height of the cam 22 accordingly.
- the cam 22 is lifted to a height equal to the height at which the base-block 14 has been set: that way, the wheels 23 fixed to the rod 6b that supports the upper portion 6a of the base-mould 6 engage the cam 22 correctly even after the base-block 14 has been adjusted to the upper position.

- the adjustable base-block makes the machine versatile and very easy to adapt to different bottle sizes without having to use the expensive and cumbersome spacers required by prior art machines.

Abstract
Un appareil pour des ébauches de moulage par soufflage permettant de réaliser des récipients en plastique comprend un moule (3), doté de deux demi-moules (4, 5) mobiles l'un vers l'autre et dans le sens inverse et un moule inférieur (6) ou moule de base (6) mobile verticalement relativement aux deux demi-moules (4, 5) entre une position non opérationnelle baissée et une position levée, où il met en prise les deux demi-moules (4, 5). Quand ils sont en prise les uns avec les autres, le moule de base (6) et les deux demi-moules (4, 5) forment une cavité interne. L'appareil (1) comprend également un bloc de base (14) pour supporter le moule de base (6), des moyens pour guider le moule de base (6) conçus pour déplacer le moule de base entre la position baissée et la position levée, le moule de base (6) étant monté en coulissement sur le bloc de base (14), de façon à se déplacer entre la position baissée et la position levée.
