Abstract

A dryer is disclosed which has a steam generator which is highly energy efficient and inexpensive to produce. The present invention provides a dryer comprising: a drum for receiving laundry, which is rotatably mounted within a main body; a duct for guiding air being supplied to the drum; a heater assembly which is provided within the duct and heats the air being supplied to the drum; and a steam generator which is located adjacent to the heater assembly and uses the heat generated by the heater assembly to generate steam to be supplied to the drum.
