Abstract

La présente invention concerne une fosse de sautoir, destinée au saut en hauteur, et conçue pour sécuriser la retombée d'un sauteur sautant depuis des hauteurs relativement importantes. Une telle fosse de sautoir comprend une structure élastique plate qui est recouverte d'une protection et qui est constituée d'un matelas gonflable (1) dont une face est garnie de reliefs élastiques gonflables régulièrement répartis (2) retenus par une face à la surface du matelas (1). Ces reliefs (2), qui sont ouverts par la face placée contre le matelas (1), sont fixés au matelas (1) par le bord de leurs bases de façon à réunir en un seul volume le volume des reliefs et le volume du matelas (1). L'ensemble constitué du matelas (1) et des reliefs (2) est couvert extérieurement au niveau du dessus et des faces par la protection qui épouse la forme du matelas (1) et de ses reliefs, et qui repose sur les dessus des reliefs (2).
