Abstract

The present invention relates to a large-volume PET bottle for beverages. During moulding of the present invention, a through hole (16) is formed in a shape familiar to consumers in the central part of the upper portion of the main body (12) such that holding parts (18)(20) are formed with through hole (16) therebetween, and any concerns by the consumer of perceptions as handles are dispelled while the retaining portions (18)(20) are conveniently used as handles and further the design of the through hole (16) adds aesthetic value.
