Description

FORMWORK FOR BUILDING FLOOR SLABS AND THE LIKE Technical field
The present invention relates to a formwork for building floor slabs and the like. Background Art
Currently, known formworks have shoring elements which support a framework on which panels rest which are provided by means of wood boards or by means of a metallic frame that supports sheets made of plywood. Normally, the assembly of these structures entails handling of the various elements on the part of a single operator.
A first drawback of currently known structures is that the panels are awkward to handle due to the heavy weight of their wood components, fully to the disadvantage of swiftness in setting up the formwork and of operator safety.
In order to obviate this drawback, currently the solution of providing panels that are small and therefore have a reduced weight with respect to larger panels is known.
However, this solution entails a multiplication of the panels to be arranged on the framework, fully to the disadvantage of its setup swiftness.
Moreover, to facilitate separation of the panels from the floor slab after its production, their wooden parts are treated with release oils.
Thus, the working surface that such panels define, which is a walking surface for the operator, is dangerously slippery, fully to the disadvantage of the safety of the personnel that works on it. Disclosure of the Invention
The aim of the present invention is to provide a formwork that allows to obviate the above noted drawbacks, being easy and safe to install even on the part of a single operator. Within this aim, an object of the invention is to propose a formwork which, for an equal weight with respect to currently known structures, allows to provide a larger surface for providing a floor slab.
Another object of the invention is to propose a formwork that is simple and easy to use and can be produced with low costs. This aim, these objects and others that will become better apparent hereinafter are achieved by a formwork for building floor slabs and the like, comprising a framework for supporting panels and shoring elements for supporting said framework, characterized in that said panels comprise a frame that is covered by a metal net that forms a working surface of said panel.
Brief description of the drawings
Further characteristics and advantages of the invention will become better apparent from the following detailed description of a preferred but not exclusive embodiment of the formwork according to the invention, illustrated by way of non-limiting example in the accompanying drawings, wherein:
Figure 1 is a perspective view of a formwork according to the invention;
Figure 2 is a top plan view of a panel of the formwork according to the invention;
Figure 3 is an enlarged-scale perspective view of a detail of a panel of the formwork according to the invention;
Figure 4 is an enlarged-scale sectional view, taken along the line IV- IV of Figure 2, of the formwork according to the invention; Figure 5 is an enlarged-scale sectional view, taken along the line IV-
IV of Figure 2, of a further detail of the formwork according to the invention. Ways of carrying out the Invention
It is noted that anything found to be already known during the patenting process is understood not to be claimed and to be the subject of a disclaimer.
With reference to the figures, the reference numeral 10 generally designates a formwork for building floor slabs and the like, comprising a framework 1 1 for supporting panels 12 and shoring elements 13 for supporting the framework 11.
According to the invention, a particularity of the formwork 10 is that the panels 12 comprise a frame 14 that is covered by a metal net 15 that forms a working surface A for the panel 12.
Advantageously, the frame 14 comprises a border 16 and cross- members 17 that have a substantially C-shaped cross-section, the ends 17a of the cross-members 17 being fixed to opposite sides 18 and 19 of the border 16.
Preferably, the metal net 15 is made of electrically welded metal rods 20a and 20b. Predefined cross-members 17b of the cross-members 17 conveniently have slots 21 for the passage of first rods 20a.
The frame 14 conveniently has five of the cross-members 17, of which a first one 17b is arranged substantially at its longitudinal centerline; the remaining ones 17c of the cross-members 17 are arranged in pairs so as to divide the compartment enclosed by the border 16 into four windows substantially having the same aperture.
Such pairs have the cross-members 17 arranged preferably so that their cross-sections are mirror-symmetrical.
The metal net 15 is preferably formed by - transverse rods 20a, of the rods 20a, 20b, which are arranged parallel to the cross-members 17 with the end 22 rested on first steps 23 formed on the first mutually opposite sides 18 of the sides 18 and 19,
- longitudinal rods 20b, which are superimposed transversely on the transverse rods 20a, with ends 24 that rest on second steps 25 formed on the second mutually opposite sides 19 of the sides 18 and 19. The border 16 has a level edge 26, which surrounds perimetrically the net 15, flush with the longitudinal rods 20b so as to define the working surface A.
In practice it has been found that the invention achieves the intended aim and objects, providing a formwork that is easy and safe to install even on the part of a single operator; the panels with the working surface formed by metal net are in fact much lighter and easier to handle than currently known wood panels.
Moreover, the formwork according to the invention, for an equal weight with respect to currently known structures, allows to prepare a surface for providing a floor slab that has a larger extent.
The invention thus conceived is susceptible of numerous modifications and variations, all of which are within the scope of the appended claims; all the details may further be replaced with other technically equivalent elements.
In practice, the materials used, as well as the contingent shapes and dimensions, may be any according to requirements and to the state of the art.
