Abstract

A golf practice aid (10) comprises a base (12) which can be affixed to the ground or a mat (M) when a golfer is practicing outdoors, or to a floor or other surface when practicing indoors. A support (18) is inserted through a slot (16) formed in the base and extends upwardly from the base. A pointer (42) is mounted to a bracket (24) which is secured to the support with the pointer being movable relative to the support for positioning the pointer at an angle relative to the plane of a golfer's golf swing. The pointer includes a plurality of sections (42a-42d) which telescope together for the pointer can be extended or retracted so the practice aid can be used by golfer's of different heights.
