Abstract

The invention relates inter alia to a control device (10) with an operating lever (20) that can be pivoted in a predefined adjustment range (50) for the control of a vehicle, in particular for the control of a locomotive or a traction vehicle. According to the invention, it is provided that the adjustment range has a symmetrical axis (60) which divides the adjustment range into two axis-symmetrical pivoting segments (70, 80). Furthermore, a locking device (200) is provided which enables a partial locking of the one or other pivoting segment in such a manner that operating commands which are valid for a locked partial range of the partially locked pivoting segment are excluded from being activated by the operator.
