Definitions
- the present invention relates to a cooking appliance, in particular vegetable oil cooker according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a burner for a liquid fuel operated stove preferably for a vegetable oil cooker is known.
- the burner is provided with an evaporator, which is connected to a feed pipe for the fuel.
- the evaporator is provided with a gas outlet channel, which is directed to a baffle device for the gas / air mixture.
- the fuel used is primarily vegetable oil, which can be used as a fuel in camping and outdoor areas and is also available in tropical and subtropical countries.
- vegetable oil can be used as a fuel in camping and outdoor areas and is also available in tropical and subtropical countries.
- palm oil, coconut oil, sunflower oil, etc. come into consideration as vegetable oil.
- the cooking appliance is designed so that as fuel petroleum, diesel oil, gasoline and vegetable oil esters come into question.
- cooking appliances burning fuel for vegetable oil have special requirements, which are due to the physical properties of the fuel.
- Vegetable oil evaporates only at about 220 0 C, which means that the evaporation temperature of vegetable oil over, for example, kerosene is about 165 0 C higher. Due to this higher evaporation temperature of the vegetable oil special pre-heaters for the evaporator are required.
- the temperature in the evaporator of the cooking appliance must not be too high, otherwise the formation of deposits inside the evaporator will be promoted. Even under optimum operating conditions residues form in the evaporator, which is why a cleaning option of the evaporator for the trouble-free operation of the cooking appliance is necessary.
- a kerosene stove is not suitable for use with vegetable oil. Rather, cooking appliances must be provided for the combustion of vegetable oil, which are suitable because of their special training, such as the geometry of the evaporator assembly.
- the object of the present invention is, in particular, to provide a favorable cooking appliance which enables improved combustion.
- the invention relates to a cooking appliance, in particular vegetable oil cooker, with a burner unit for generating an open flame by combustion of a liquid fuel, which comprises a nozzle for the exit of the fuel, which is directed onto a baffle plate.
- the baffle plate have a plurality of openings. Due to the openings in the baffle plate, a stowage effect during the combustion process is avoided.
- the advantage of such a cooking appliance is therefore in particular that a better and more uniform temperature distribution is achieved at the evaporator. This in turn leads to a lower noise during the combustion process and a reduction of deposits on the evaporator.
- a less expensive material can be used.
- the baffle plate preferably has a curved, in particular dish-shaped form.
- An advantageous development provides that a central region of the baffle plate is free of openings. This ensures that the fuel vapor emerging from the nozzle is deflected by the baffle plate, and thus sufficiently mixed with the ambient air in the combustion chamber.
- the burner unit preferably has an evaporator which partially surrounds the baffle plate.
- the evaporator is allowed to be uniformly heated during the combustion process, resulting in an improvement of the burning behavior.
- the baffle plate recesses which are located in areas of the baffle plate, which are closest to the evaporator. Due to the Recesses, the heating of the evaporator is improved, resulting in an optimized temperature distribution at the evaporator.
- a radius of curvature of the baffle plate is between 100 mm and 130 mm, in particular between 1 10 mm and 120 mm. This improves the burning behavior and achieves a more uniform temperature distribution at the evaporator.
- a distance (D) between an underside of the baffle plate and an outlet opening of the nozzle is between 25 mm and 30 mm, in particular between 27 mm and 29 mm.
- This arrangement also leads to improved burning behavior and a more uniform temperature distribution. Due to the above-mentioned advantages, the efficiency of the cooking appliance is optimized and the combustion noise and deposits on the evaporator are reduced.
- baffle plate is mounted on a flame guide, which limits the flame to the side.
- the flame guide serves in particular the air flow and the limitation of the flame. Due to the mounting of the baffle plate on the flame guide element attachment is made possible by simple means. In addition, due to this arrangement can create a combustion chamber within which the fuel vapor-air mixture burns optimally.
- the baffle plate preferably has at least two tabs which are held in holders of the flame guiding element.
- the holder of the baffle plate is made possible by simple means.
- a particularly robust construction is thus achieved.
