Abstract

L'invention concerne une bougie d'allumage et un procédé de fabrication. Ladite bougie comporte un élément d'isolation généralement annulaire en céramique et coque métallique entourant au moins en partie cet élément. Une électrode de masse est reliée opérationnel à la coque, et comporte une surface d'allumage propre. Ladite bougie comporte en outre une électrode centrale à corps allongé qui présente une surface d'allumage propre. Les deux surfaces d'allumage en question permettent d'établir un intervalle d'allumage. Un joint brasé assure la liaison soit entre l'élément isolant et la coque soit entre cet isolant et l'électrode centrale.
